FAQ & Warranty Info

How it Works

  Fuel

The V9 uses gasoline or a gasoline/diesel mixture as it’s fuel source. This fuel is poured into the fuel tank located in the body of the flamethrower. No need to mess with co2 bottles, the fuel is not pressurized it is pump.

  Battery

The Vulcan V9 flamethrower is electric, but it’s no toy! The V9 operates on  the Milwaukee M12 LI-Ion rechargable drill battery. You don’t have to worry about over charging or discharging your battery and ruining your battery. The Milwaukee M12 battery has built in technology which will not allow you to mess it up. So in other words, use it drain it, recharge it!

  Pilot Torch

The pilot flame is provided by a high quality isobutane camping burner. These burners are light weight and provide a large flame for the fuel to pass through. The pilot torch is ignited by a small piezo igniter similar to a gas grill.

  Pump

The fuel tank is full a fully charged battery has been installed and the pilot torch is lit. Press the on button and small led light on the switch indicates its on. With every press of the trigger button located on top of the handle. A powerful electric pump is active which pumps fuel from the fuel tank and emits the fuel with great pressure out of the nozzle at the end of the barrel. This fuel stream passes through the pilot flame igniting the fuel.

Please NOTE: Educating yourself on the city ordinance and regulations in your county, city and state are your responsibility*

There are Two Exceptions: (as of the writing of this)
1) Maryland: We do not ship to the state of Maryland due to their strict fire code which prohibits ownership of flamethrowers.

2) California: Residence of CA may own flamethrowers but they must be restricted to a firing distance of less than 10 ft. We have a CA model with a different nozzle to meet this regulation.

Laws Change Rapidly. We are not offering any legal advice nor are we a legal advice resource. Please check with your legal council if you have any questions regarding owning and operating a Flamethrower.

Do I need a pressurized air tank?

No. The Vulcan V9 is electric. No need to worry about carry extra tanks of special inert gas. The V9 is battery operated which spins a powerful pump that pumps the fuel out of the nozzle creating great pressure.
